Software Engineer Developer/ Team Lead SWE3
TS/SCI with Poly clearance required
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Salary Range: $200- $240K
Well-rounded software engineer capable of fulfilling a dual role of software developer and team lead.
Team Lead Role (Tech Lead)
• Act as a team representative to the customer product lead and to other development teams
• Work with the team's Systems Engineer to define requirements, scope, and schedule sprints for/with the team
• Work within an agile development framework to handle continually changing priorities from the customer
• Desire and ability to mentor junior developers on the team
Software Developer Role
• Must have experience developing in Java
• Strong desire to have map/reduce framework development experience
• Strong desire to have experience developing in Spring Framework Work
Qualification:
Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
